Pokemon Giveaway!
I am very excited to share some Pokemon love this week. This is not a sponsored post, the prizes were not given to me, in fact, I was think I was manipulated slightly and ended up buying more then I had intended!
There is this really cute little shop in Hobart, they sell all kinds of Japanese Anime products. I -always- buy too much when I go in there.
The couple that manage the shop suck me in every single time! They are chatty and nice to my children, yep.. Nice! Of course I am not that naive, I realise they see my stress and discomfort in trying to select items as quickly as humanly possible when faced with a wall of Pokemon, Hello Kitty, and Domo Kun products.
Why? Oshawott is touching everything he can reach, pleading with me that he -really- needs it (his Christmas list is already a mile long, after just this visit!).
Pichu is having one of his hourly daily tantrums, kicking the stand of plush toys I had unthinkingly placed him in kick length distance to. Even in the pram he can perform some rather interesting maneuvers when the mood suits, which it seems to do often. Writhing this way and that, throwing anything he can reach and generally making the ears of anybody in a cooee's distance bleed.
But they go out of their way to entertain the boys, and give them trashy little trinkets that I then spend an additional 5 minutes trying to open and/or assemble. All the while Pichu is tanting them across the room like no tomorrow, and Oshawott is deciding that now is a good time to become independent and insist on trying to assemble a tiny little figurine by himself, failing, crying, relenting, and asking for assistance in a very uncouth manner.
So as all of this is going on, I just cannot make a thoroughly dissected decision on which Pokemon to buy. Every second I linger on trying to process my thoughts equals an exponential rise in my, and all other shopper's, blood pressures.
So I grab stuff, too much stuff, pay, apologise and thank the couple in the same breath and hastily make our much anticipated exit. As we leave, and over the top of Pichu's crying (still), I can hear a collective sigh of relief from the shop.
The prizes
Pikachu Pillow Pet
We have one of these, they are so cute, my son loves his and sleeps with it every night.

Angry Birds Playset
I couldn't resist this, an Angry Birds game that you actually get to physically launch the pigs through the air!
I think it's relatively simple.. use this thingy to sign your lives away to all future iSophie blog posts notifications and other incredibly important updates, usually about tantrums... Follow iSophie on the various social media for more entries into the draw. For help on entering, you can look here.
After 8 days I can use it to randomnly draw a winner for each prize. I will contact you to arrange delivery of your awesome prize.
