Oshawott tried his best to cheer him up but also failed.
He was on my lap, and regardless of the capes we both ended up covered in hair, which was a great look for going out to the bakery afterwards for morning tea. Though no one noticed, they were too busy laughing at Oshawott's request for "soiled (soy) milk please".
Yes, that is a half smile, half grimace in the last photo, and he was very cheery at the completion of the cut and couldn't say goodbye loud or fast enough as he ran towards the door.
Oh his face! He's not impressed! But that 'soiled milk' would've made it all go away!
ReplyDeleteI had my hair done the other week and had to take Sunny with me. I had to distract her when it came to cutting my hair time because I don't want her getting any ideas with scissors and her own gorgeous hair! She has the longest hair and I'm dreading the day she starts experimenting!
*Touch wood* I have never had any of the boys attempt a self style change.
DeleteIt's really difficult isn't it, to get some time for yourself to get even the mundane things done.
Aww, poor kid lol! Well the haircut looks very cute. :) And btw, I love your kids' Pokemon nicknames!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Camille, it ended out ok in the end!
DeleteOne of them is particularly obsessed with Pokemon, and another follows his lead a bit.
So cute! I love his faces. Thankfully I haven't had to navigate the world of children's haircuts yet, not really looking forward to it when I do either!
ReplyDeleteAh your time will come Grasshopper.. your time will come.
DeleteThanks for visiting!
That's hilarious... well for me, obviously not for you and absolutely not for the hairdresser. Love the monkey suit
ReplyDeleteOh there was laughing, oh yes. Actually it was very difficult to not laugh constantly at him.
