We have had visitors for the last week, and before that (and during) we have had sick people all over the place. Legoman ended up on anti-biotics for a earache that wouldn't go away, we have even had some head lice thrown in for good measure.
But before they arrived.
I was getting organised. They were arriving at lunch time. But having been sick for the previous week, and having a constant headache, it was a hard slog getting everything cleaned on the last day. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, tidying up. I had Voltorb and Coder home sick, so the house was full of germs, washing and whining.
Pichu was sick and in bed asleep, so I did manage to get all of the beds made, I even cleaned the shower while I washed my hair!
I just had to clean the toilet before racing out the door to get to the airport on time.
And that's when I found a carrot in the toilet. About 3/4 of a raw carrot lying at the bottom of the bowl. It was a, laugh because that's all you can do, moment.
Yes, I had to fish it out, but it's not the first time I've had to do that. First time it's been a carrot though!
